BUS LINE 107
On 1 January 2011, the new bus line 107 started operating from Kamppi to Suurpelto. Buses run with intervals of about 30 minutes on weekdays, and 60 minutes on weekday evenings and weekends. The route passes through Tapiola. Driving time estimate from Kamppi to Suurpelto is about 20-30 minutes, depending on the time of day. Timetables are already available in the timetable booklet for Espoo, and they will also be published online at the turn of the year. See the timetables for line 107 here.
BUS LINE 16
At the moment, the local line 16 operates in the area. You can look at the timetables here.
BUS LINES 5, 35 AND 43
Lines 5, 35 and 43 and a few 121K turns also operate along Ylismäentie. In spring 2012, bus line 5 is planned to start to passing through Suurpelto. but this requires that the Ring II interchange is completed by then. Line 5 will take you both to the Sello and Iso Omena shopping centres.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT PLAN
Additional shifts will be added and new bus routes established as more and more residents arrive in the area. Helsinki Region Transport has prepared a public transportation plan for the region that reaches until year 2014. Plans for Suurpelto are introduced on page 21. The implementation of these plans is further specified every year depending on construction status of area.
THE WESTERN METRO EXTENSION
After the western metro line extension is completed, feeder traffic will be directed to Matinkylä and Tapiola metro stations by bus. The closest metro station is Urheilupuisto. Buses will run along the Suurpelto main street once the central area is completed. The city zoning plan also features a reservation for a rail connection, which could transport residents and workers to Kera and Matinkylä in the future.
