The first neighbourhood shop of Suurpelto is a new kind of order-and-delivery service for home shopping, a community e-store. This new type of a community store will make everyday life easier especially for families with young children and also assist the elderly to cope better. In the new system, groceries as well as library and laundry services can be delivered directly to your door or to the service lobby lockers in apartment buildings.
In Suurpelto, e-lobbies will be built in all the apartment buildings. Residents can hire a locker and use it for ordering services and receive them even when they are not home. Food purchases are delivered in heat-insulated transportation boxes that come equipped with cold/hot gel; the boxes can therefore be used to transport both frozen and warm food.
You can use this service by ordering user codes and downloading the program. After the first ordering, the program will make a proposal based on your earlier orders, and you can then quickly and easily make any required changes.
